Description: Come to one class or all. These radical transformation sessions will ask you to fully confront yourself in what it means to be human, to be authentic, to be conscious, to be vulnerable. You will become more clear and connected using my special methodology. (1) “Mindful Aging… Amping Up the Possibilities Within Ourselves” Retreat (nickname “The Death Class”)
Description: This retreat is for any age/any stage of life. If you are on the younger side, I encourage you to take this now. This retreat will focus on the true realities of aging not simply expectations, how aging might be limiting you and how you are limitless, how our society negatively personifies getting older, illness, what you think about death, etc. Baby, this is deep, and we need to get deep as many of these topics are considered taboo, yet we will all experience these things. We will sit in chairs. Bring a pad and pen/pencil. Perfect to for those thinking about retirement or in retirement.

(2) “Finding Authenticity Through Release of Hurt & Self-Judgement” Retreat
Description: Do you want to be yourself and question who that even is? Maybe there are things bogging you down from a broken relationship, grief, lost love, anxiety, depression, as well as negative self-talk. These are parts of life, so let’s talk about it them versus escaping or pushing them down. Through energy work we will then move through these issues with awareness, kindness and gentleness. Dress comfortably and please bring paper and pen. NOTE – come with an open mind and willingness to discuss personal topics.

(3) (in progress) Stillness, Movement & Music Sessions via the Yoga Summit
Description: Me, Kristie Leahy Comsia (E-RYT 500, degree in early childhood eduction & director of Yoga Central) and local musician Zach Freidhof (20 album releases & Ex Dir of Big Love Network) are hosting this unique session for non-profits/schools to show all that meditation, mindfulness and yoga are accessible to all ages, backgrounds and beliefs. This class is also steeped in practices that ease anxiety/depression, increase flexibility, boost creativity and hope, enhance social emotional skills/connection. Some of our clients include: Rebecca Stallman Southgate School, Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts, Greenwood Early Learning Center, Hands of Hope, Domestic Violence Project, Wheels 4 Change, Summit DD.

Description: This class showcases that we can all be quiet together and expand regardless of physical or mental ability. In fact, those who might be perceived as less than, in this, can break many barriers including “typical” people’s thoughts of what can be achieved.

BELONG, a Gathering of Awesomeness:
Description: BELONG is a monthly gathering for those looking for something different… those who desire a non-judgmental, expansive, tangible connection that they can for feel themselves. This connection can be to God, to people, the earth, community. All ages, faiths, belief systems, backgrounds welcome. I will be the facilitator where each month we will focus on a different, bold topic. Examples: addiction, family, abuse, suicide, money, power, authority, love, authenticity. Interviewing folks from the Just Be community, I will talk with those who have direct personal knowledge of the subject discussing how they are working through it from a human to a bigger picture perspective. These will not be “experts” just normal people like you and I. There will be time for questions/community dialogue, and it will end with a unique group meditation. No need to enroll… just show up. The topic for the next three months will be the dichotomy of family from setting boundaries, to abuse, to acceptance, to love, to the drama that can take place… the entire gamut.
